Media Release: CCCS welcomes CHSP certainty for older people and regional communities

Coast & Country Community Services (CCCS) has welcomed the Australian Government’s decision to retain the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) as a standalone program and extend the program until 30 June 2029.

So grateful to all the wonderful volunteers who were punctual, polite, friendly, so accommodating & helpful and very professional. Even while struggling to meet demand (as they lost many drivers due to some difficulties with management) the team managed to fit me in almost every time I needed it. TIP: make sure you book as far in advance as possible, especially for longer trips.
